Your 2025 SCNA Governing Council has some great things to look forward to!

A note from Josiah Woodfield about this upcoming year: Greetings fellow fanciers! Winter has been cold and snowy but we are starting to see light at the end of the tunnel here in the Mid-Atlantic. Turning the lights on and planning to start spring hatching soon- my favorite time of year! (Meeting Minutes included in link below)

2024 Awards

The exhibitor and breeder of the year awards are still being finalized, but they are being posted on the website as they are completed.

A New Youth Program

The SCNA Youth Program is making a return! We have a new committee in place to discuss the ideas and goals for the new year. Our future depends on the kids!

Shows!

We had some great shows in 2024 and already in 2025. We are hoping to have a full year upcoming, however, Avian Flu has already cancelled a few planned events. Fingers Crossed we are able to navigate those challenges this year. To read more about what we have coming in 2025, click below!

The 2025 SCNA Semi-Nationals is awarded to...

Congrats to Wisconsin and District 4 for securing the 2025 SCNA Semi-Nationals to be held October 11th in Jefferson, Wisconsin. Keep your eye out for more information.

Bids are open for 2026 Nationals!

The National and Semi National shall be the most important meets of the SCNA. Our Constitution and By Laws state that the National Meet shall be held each year between January 1st & June 30th. The location of the National and Semi National Meets will be chosen by the Governing Council with consideration given to allowing the meet to rotate around the country. Priority will be given to the Districts and Councils offering the SCNA publicity, a high number of exhibitors and birds and the ability to hold a Table Top show.
